Taipei has plenty of two-tones. The worst (lack of) inventory is at the boutique at Taipei 101, younger female staff there are stuck up and ridiculously rude. I only saw an Explorer 2 when I visited.
The Rolex ADs in Da'an district has plenty of two-tones but no steel sport models. |

No SS sport. You may find one if you go to southern Taiwan and in a less populated area, but you have to be very lucky.
It is a standard practice in Taiwan to sell you one over MSRP and package it with a Tudor (you don't get to choose which Tudor). You won't find a deal from most ADs because you are forced to buy a Tudor. |

The latest trend here is now ADs are forcing you to pair it with a less in demand Rolex. It's insane. Even at grey dealers, in demand SS models are priced higher than greys in the US. For most of the watch buying public in Taiwan, it's Rolex or bust. |

“pairing it with a Tudor of the AD's choice” - good grief, what is going on these days??

I think the new releases (e.g. GMT or BB58) are doing ok - when I suggested to pair one of those with the SS GMT CHNR I had inquired about the sales lady smiled and pointed me to a case full of Tudor equivalents of lady-sized TT date-justs. I smiled back and left.
One of the Taipei AD's had a 85-deep waiting list for the 116500 by the time I asked about it two years ago. Just a couple of years earlier we had bought a 116520 as walk-ins at MSRP minus tax. |

exactly. They speak a different language, thats the only difference... its only useful to try if you are counting how many languages you can be told "No SS professionals" in

Don’t even bother. I saw a SS Pepsi in the coffin box in the window. Enquirer, and staff said I’ll have to buy a Prince to be able to buy the Pepsi. The Prince is about 2x the price of the Pepsi.

there is availability in Myanmar (Burma)
In Sule (next to the Shangri-La hotel) the Rolex AD had a 2 tone black sub, 2 tone blue sub, solid gold GMT black, 2 tone GMT black, 2 different types of 2 tone daytona, explorer 2 black, a mili, air king, and a steel deep sea. Prices are all slightly higher than western prices however you could probably get the tax back. Was cool to see the deep sea in a window with all the others |

Hi All, going to HK & Taipei next month. What are the chances of getting bracelet BB58?
I noticed Tudor no longer display the RRP on their website. Does anyone know BB58's RRP in HK and Taiwan? Heaps thanks! |

I haven’t seen many 58s anywhere in Taipei, including grey dealers. That said, MSRP is $106k TWD/~$3440 USD. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The thing about Taiwan, as in most Asian countries, is that the ADs will save those specials pieces, i.e, 116500, hulk, blro, batman, for either their whales OR someone that they can do a favor for. For example, such and such executive is looking for this piece and he'll owe you one if you give this piece to him even though he has never bought a watch there

Oh well, should've joined the queue long time ago. I did not expect a Tudor would be hard to source (at MSRP). Thanks folks!

What taipei has plenty of supply are Pateks. But they only sell the hot models to locals or to frequent clients.
