Changing the bezel on a Datejust 116200

Evening all

Could someone please advise on the difficult and process on changing the bezel on a 116200

It has the smooth bezel at the moment and changing it to a stainless steel fluted bezel

I have heard that its pretty straightforward and the new watches are sealed and so bezel can simply be “popped” off and new one put in but not sure how true this is

Simple if you have the correct Rolex tools...
Where are you going to source your fluted bezel? Can't go through any official way since it is not allowed on your 116200.

On top of that you'll need a new hytrel washer/gasket that holds the bezel in place.

Ah yes i think its the washer/gasket that i remember reading

Not turning it into a 116234 as it is a stainless bezel, didnt want a gold bezel hence the reason for going for an aftermarker bezel, it was purchased with this already in mind

Why are you putting an aftermarket bezel on your Rolex?!

Didnt realise it was frowned upon to change the bezel, its a nice watch either way so happy to keep the smooth bezel
