If you can tolerate more I would read his posts under his other banned profile. Schnitzerphillip. More of the same. I actually remembered him once I read some of the posts b/c he had a thread about being crazy obsessed with keeping the PCLs on his new 500C perfect. The lengths he was going to were unbelievable . I thought he was joking when I first read the thread last year but turns out he wasn't. He was serious. He gave the term OCD a whole new meaning. In one of the threads, Ken at one point politely asked him to put a lid on it. He didn't listen and he went bye bye. |

It’s simple. The watches will sale for what’s people will pay. When people stop paying these prices then they will start to drop down. Please don’t spell check me !!!

Seems like buyers aren’t willing to pay 17k+ for the 126710 BLRO. What’s your hold
I’m no expert, but one thing I heavily consider is resale value. I feel like if I pay 8-9k for a good condition sub-c, in 6 years it will hold a fair amount of value. Might even go up. If I spend 6k for a great condition explorer 1, i feel it will hold a little less relative resale value. If I spend 17k on a stainless GMT, I feel like it will lose a significant amount of resale value, as production ramps up, demand drops, etc etc... So it feels like a big loss the moment I would buy it (like buying a new luxury car), even though it may take years for resale price to actually drop. If I were to pick up a used sub-c, I would feel like I might be able to sell it off someday for close to what I bought it, and thus get the value of owning it for a relatively low cost.

Warren Buffet is not even paying retail.
Time - if you have it - is on your side--I think. Like bios-NVAX and ADMP-don't chase it. |

Looks like the grey market just sold a BLRO, price unknown but probably close to the 17K mark. This post is not intended to generate hot debate, merely just related to the thread title and I thought it would be interesting to keep tabs on this watch´s secondary market value as time goes by.

In the UK a few months back they were listed at £17,500. Now £14,500. They are probably going for £13-13,500 after the deal is done ?
Still £6k too high... |

I held out for MSRP...
And got mine last Friday. Before that I have been able to get -10% or so on my BLNR, SD4K and LVc. That was last year though. I guess for now MSRP is the best we can expect.

There's been a bunch of BLRO deliveries here in the last week. My salesman says they're coming in more regularly than just a few months ago but it will still be quite a while before they have them in the case.

Noticing again how many BLRO deliveries there’s been in the last couple of weeks, how many of you will still want one if they’re no longer “hard to get.”
I’m kind of liking mine...because I like it. |

It’s an absolute killer piece no doubt about it. But id rather keep my BLNR given the choice between the 2. Certainly wouldn’t mind both though
