Dawn Chorus

Each morning round about 5:30am a whole bunch of Corellas drop round our place to squark and chat and cuddle...

I've a bit to learn from Uncle A-J...

Yes beautiful birds but can be very very vocal, and with a voice unfortunately not like a Nightingale.

Despite what others may think, Corellas are one of my favourites and I personally love their sound!

Knowing that there are flocks and flocks of these all over in Australia, I love it when we see them in their natural habitat, and stopped a few times on our last trip there to shoot some video. They may not be song birds, but I still love to hear them! I shot this along the side of the road on our way from Victoria to South Australia a little over 2 years ago.....love them!

Galahs are my absolute favourite birds from Australia, but they are also a bit noisy. However there's nothing better than waking up to the sounds of the Magpies singing in the early morning. Love their complicated whistle.
