Daytona has always been a hard to get peice

Subs and gmts might be getting new movements/ and new case same as pepsi gmt? Maybe thats why theres none in stores

I remember 2016 my AD had a batch of all gmts and subs multiples of each everytime i went in

Now theres 30+ on each list - plausible - time will tell

A GMT and Sub with the new movement would be the most likely for me.

Rolex buys Breitling,

releases the Navigmt - a Navitimer GMT with rotating colored ceramic bezel for the slide rule.

I’m pretty confident that this will happen soon, and will make people quit ignoring such a beautiful watch. Wait lists would be outrageous IMHO

No politics, please.

And no, I'm not a supporter.

I just want to come to TRF as a safe harbor from all politics.

It seems completely reasonable for this upgrade to happen too, would have given the SD43 2 years with its new movement/time to accumulate some sales.

I would agree with you......before this year's release. Rolex introduced the new movement onto a new SS BLRO and LEFT the old movement in the new WG BLRO. They're not abiding by that 'upgrade the PM models first' logic anymore!

100% agree that 2021 will be the year for the EXP2. 50 years practically always have significance. Paired with this, I HIGHLY doubt they would let a revamped Sub share the spotlight with this occasion, so I think it's likely the Sub is getting its upgraded movement no later than Basel 2020.

I tend to agree with this, but how do you improve on the near perfect Explorer II? It’s already one of the only 42mm offerings in the lineup. The speculation seems to be a ceramic bezel, but I’m pretty skeptical about that too. I guess they have a few years to think about it.

Datejust 36 in stainless steel and one with white gold bezel will probably getting a new case and movement like the two tones one did in 2018. I think so, because my friend try to order one with the specific dial that he like and the local AD can’t ordered one.

I agree with this post. The obvious prediction is that Rolex will make a model that will be hard for us to obtain anyway.

A tease with new designs and we are still waiting for last years models. Basel 2019 you won't get till 2021 if you are lucky.

No kidding - hard to get excited about Rolex’s 2019 Basel offerings when most people will either have to beg their AD to get them high on their list or pay over MSRP from a gray. Unless of course you are angling for a SS datejust 36 w the new lugs/movement
