Ap roo 44 titanium vs ceramic
Hi guys,
I’m buying my first AP and I’m comparing the titanium vs ceramic. I tried the titinium and fell in love with it instantly, can’t find a ceramic for comparison. I think the titanium offers more contrast and look vibriant on my wrist. What do you think guys? Titanium or ceramic? Thank you |

Titanium all day for me. I just don’t favor all black watches in general. Plus I love grey so I am quite biased.
If it was a few mm smaller I’d have kept mine.

I think both are great and you cannot go wrong with either. Personally, I picked the Ti, wearing it as I type this, and couldn't be happier with the decision. Very comfortable for long term wear and the dial is always fun to look at!

I tried on both and decided to go with the Ti. I previously had a ceramic Panerai(pam335), and was always worried about damaging the ceramic case. The Ti44 is also very comfortable. You can't go wrong with either though.

If it's your only ROO, then I say the TI. If you have multiple, then the ceramic finishing is something special you should consider adding. It's my favorite watch in my rotation and gets most of the wrist time along with the SD43.

Both are great, but I prefer the titanium for the reasons stated above.

I'm guess I am in the minority group of this discussion, but for me I was drawn to the color and uniqueness of the ceramic reference. I've seen the titanium reference available at every boutique and authorized dealer that I have walked in to so far (New York, California, Texas) and never the ceramic. I think the titanium is a "safer bet" than the ceramic for sure but I was drawn to the ceramic because of the color combo and material. I also wear all black basically every day, so it works for me. I like both references but the titanium didn't speak to me enough to justify a purchase.
The ceramic's gold hands when caught in the sun at the right angle against the black dial is absolutely gorgeous. |

I tried both on before pulling the trigger on the Ti. More contrast, more legible, and more wearable with all outfits IMO.
