Nr 7 from 7

or in other words, changes to see one of these is close to zero :-)

Svend Andersen

- Together with Vincent Calabrese the founder of SIHH
- Worked many years for Patek and developed for Patek the Worldtimer ( base was a Louis Cottier )
- Andersen made only about 650 watches in his entire life
- Considered to be 'Mr Worldtimer'
- He's 79 years old

Glad to own such a piece of history !

It is not easy to keep track of all these abbreviations.

I talk to Svend a few weeks ago at AHCI in Geneva, he tell me he will retire later this year and the guy that works for him have buying his company and will keep it alive.

I thought he sold it already 2-3 years ago to him. And is since then working together with him.

Thanks for the heads up. Joined. Do you get a password or some kind of code for the book? I paid and did not even get a confirmation email.

Congrats and thanks for joining! They're not automated like Amazon / etc and are more of a personal touch organization. As it was the weekend, please give them a day or two to get back to you via email.
