Quality watches

Here is the one I own. A good, solid, quality watch. I personally like watches with larger faces and this one fits the bill. I have two Rolex's, an IWC, and a Ulysse Nardin and the Breitling is in this same class in my opinion. It would be a good addition.

I really like my Breitling Navitimer Olympus. At 43.5 mm, it sits large on my wrist but I can take it.

It's probably too busy for most of you, that's the way I like my watches.

And the leather strap doesn't look cheap.

when i went to look at the super avenger i tried on the Olympus in white with the ss bracelet. it was very nice. breitling has some of the best leather straps you can buy. if i get the super avenger i will get the ss bracelet and a leather strap so i can change it up when i want.!!

44mm Chrono Avenger on a 7.25" wrist, don't think its that big on the wrist.

I was in Breitling AD last year and I tried the titanium one. I didn`t like the feeling on my wrist. It was just too big and too light for my taste. And I ended buying the Super Ocean model,on a rubber strap with brown leather strap as an option. It was watch with great finish and remarkable quality, but it just never fitted me well.So I flipped it in December!
I realized that I`m a Rolex/Tudor and even Seiko man and that Breitling is just not the watch for me.
But I have GREAT respect for the brand.

I have very mixed feelings towards Breitling watches. Sure, they are fine timepieces and I don't mind big watches but... Here in Sweden you can get the impression that there are a lot of Breitling owners who just have Breitlings to show them off. In fact, you can often hear expressions like "Bratling" since Breitling seems so be the watch to have if you are a spoiled brat who likes to engage in champagne wars with other spoiled brats. Does this image only exist in Sweden or does it exist elsewhere?

Funny anecdote... I had a "bad" dream a couple of nights before I bought my Sub. I dreamt that I would be given the opportunity to enter an exclusive watch store and pick whichever watch I wanted for free. When I entered, they only had Breitling...

The idea to pick the most expensive one and flip it for a couple of Rollies never occured to me. Rationality rarely have a place in your dreams...

I concur. However, considering I own both brands, I can't say much about the matter. lol
