I am not offended, in the least. I was a bit confused, as to why you thought my comments irrelevant, when they pertained to the exact title of this thread. I was merely trying to clarify my thought process, regarding choosing the AD, for my jewelry purchase. No apology necessary. All is good.

Does buying things from a shop help build a relationship with the people that work in that shop? - yes.

Is a stronger relationship likely to lead to more success in obtaining hard to get items? - more than likely.

Therefore, should you buy things you don’t want or need simply to help with building that relationship? - entirely up to you.
