PAM 372 vs 422

Of those two...372

If I can add another to muddy the water...368 or 375 as they show all the numbers...otherwise there are 127,203,217 or 267

I chose the 422. I prefer the seconds hand because I find it aesthetically pleasing to watch it move lol. The power reserve on the back was a nice touch. Both are great watches though.

My choice is 372, but go with the one that resonates more with you.

Another vote for 372. It's a cleaner look and the seconds don't really make a difference for me. If I need to time something I'll use my phone.

422!
While I really love the 372.
The power reserve on the back of the 422 and the seconds hand. Perfect.

for me there is no comparison. I think the 372 is on the short list of all time classic Panerai. Domed Plexi (older model), and just about everything you want in a modern Panerai with ties to the history.

^^ha! Even more reason for plexi...you can polish it when it scratches. When diamonds scratch sapphire, you are out of luck, just ask my Pelagos!

Both are great pieces and most people go for Panerai for its simplicity.

The 422 is more "Panerai".

I’d argue that 372 is even more Panerai-er than 422 due to the 6152/1 connection

However, probably 422 is the first 47mm luminor in marina configuration that’s missing the 9 on the dial...look at 127,203,217,267,368,375,617 gang...
