To OP, do you really think WG bezel (scratch magnet, can’t polish w/o losing shape and not as nice looking) and 12 bracelet links are worth an additional $10k?

Compelling argument. I do prefer the ceramic bezel and the way it matches the subs and the band!As far as the price difference, yes quite the motivator!

I never said a word on this subject. My question was primarily about the band. This poster must have been speaking in general?

The ceramic provides a perfect silver black silver contrast on the 619ln. Clearly my favorite of all my Daytonas.

I think it's a beauty. Maybe the best looking modern Daytona, although that would be a tough call.

Yes, in general. A common comment is WG isn’t worth it because it looks like steel. To each his own though. This watch is epic no matter what the material is.

Update: Found a minute today to visit the Ad.

After looking quickly through the display case, I didn't find the 116519. Of course, there was an SA was hot on my tail. So I politely asked if they did have one and a few moments later, the store manager and the SA bought wrapped in plastic BNIB from the safe. For those that ask, yes, I did receive the full treatment, water, tea, and champagne was offered.

Now for the fit, well, like a glove would be the easiest and fastest way to describe it. It was very light which I did expect. No issue with legibility and the dial is gorgeous!

But, I'm sorry to say, I didn't pull the trigger...I do love the piece and a white gold Daytona is my grail. I'm just not quite there with the funds and with these upcoming April announcements (which might not even pertain to the WG Daytona), have me on hold mode temporarily. Man, I'm on the fence......

One sentence from the manager I found intriguing......"We don't put this item in our display, it's is a sold watch, stored in our safe...."
