I was going to say that if she’s saying this, you’ve not made sure she has what she wants too. But looks like she’s getting it now!

Ok this thread is depressing me...

I think that if you have problems with one wife, similar problems will follow you if you simply divorce and not find out the causes...

I love all the, "Relief" and "Freedom" but really some of us are destined to be married, and if you can not or will not correct the issues between you's, it quite possible there will be more problems in the next relationship.

I like the idea, of living together and keeping things separate, and Yes, I just caught myself...

Really, do what you makes you happy, and if divorce is it, then do it.

As far as OP, I'm not giving advice anymore to anyone. I would just say, keep an open mind because you could be causing the problems in the relationship either knowingly or not...

Not giving advice is---> Relief!

Every person has an opinion.
Be happy w any decision u make.
Mine is simple, first marriage is a mistake, second is a memory loss. I m happy I don't have a second

Great thread

Gotta do what makes you happy

If she doesn’t, then correct that problem - same goes for her

My wife is the love of my life. I dont have to justify my watches or cars to her or anyone, she knows it's just my thing, they're just an invested hobby. She gets all of the money anyway..

I'm loyal, I provide, I buy what I want. She's loyal, she also provides, she buys what she wants. Getting tied up in your partner's purchases, unless they negatively impact your finances is ridiculous.

My first wife resented my motorcycles, cars and watches. My second is on board with all three. Believe me, the difference is AMAZING!

I am with ya here! Me to.
The attitude of some in this thread saddens me, but I guess that is why 50% of marriages end in divorce.

My lovely wife (I have to say that in case she reads this), is happy for me to spend some money on watches as long as I don't go overboard. The agreement is that I buy sensibly, don't sell any and leave them to our kids when we pass away.

She has her eye on a nice TTDJ36 for next year and is trying to persuade me to get a TT Blue Sub, so in my eyes she's a keeper.

Early on my wife was did not understand the collecting/flipping. Over time she became more educated about the hobby and within reason is good with it. I have found that when people are getting what they need they are more tolerant of others needs or wants.

Usually i throw it back at them. Why do you need so many pairs of shoes, purses, earrings? Ok then. I set $$ aside for my hobby of watches. I could be blowing my $ on coke/ho's. Instead its on watches and modding cars and makes me happy.

Last gf i dated for 7 yrs, said its me or your 2nd amendment toys. I chose my toys instead. No way i would move to DC and be a sheep.

Most proclaim marital bliss, (which is statistically false) ................ right up until the moment the legal retainer fee is paid.

I’ve used the “trading you in for two twenties” joke since the we got married. My wife was twenty when we tied the knot, so while it didn’t bother her then it’s starting to irritate her now that she’s a few years away from forty.
