Apple watch or Rolex...

Hi. I am female and received a beautiful, diamond dial, black mother of pearl, bi metal, jubilee style bracelet rolex just before last Christmas. I then received a gorgeous stainless steel Apple watch at Christmas.

I am torn between wearing my practical Apple watch (although i have customised my watch with a blingy bezel!) or my amazing Rolex...which would you wear more of or for different occasions?
I will add photos later!

Mrs Yoda wears her Apple at the office and at the gym (zumba), for that very reason--practicality. Heart rate, alerts, and all manner of other things.

She wears her dial & hands watches most other times.

I use both Apple Watch for work/exercise and the Rolex all other times. If I didn't work/exercise I'd wear the Rolex 100% of the time :)

I’d give the Apple Watch away to someone who’d appreciate it.

Apple Watch is stylish and can be dressed up and down but also is a health utility so alternating between a Rolex and an Apple Watch won’t clash at all.
One perfect time for the Apple Watch to be on the wrist instead of the Rolex is when you go to be.
Enjoy both.

I attach my Apple watch to my dog so she can close my exercise rings. I wear my Rolex to work so I know what I am working for.

Wear what you like most. My wife loves her Apple watch even though she has some really nice watches that now collect dust. She too blinged out her bracelet.

Please ignore logix1229 he has no class.

I wear my Apple Watch cellular when I don’t want to carry my iPhone.

Your Rolex however is a very special piece.

Wear it on special occasions.

Gave my GF a smartwatch last xmas and it never leaves her wrist. She works in a lab and there are rooms where no cell phones are allowed so the watch is a part of her work day. That being said she has hinted that a Rolex would be the after work watch if one was to come her way... So the smart watch is the real tool watch and the Rolex a... Well it's really nice. If it happens. Enjoy yours.

That is very tempting as I truly love both watches! But i had to stop myself as i know wearing two watches would probably not look great on my small wrists...!

I also find wearing a smart watch to be so beneficial for my passion toward mechanical watches. The more I wear a smart watch the more my love grows for my mechanical pieces.
The moment I finish my exercise and shower I rush to put my Rolex or Tudor on before my underwater

I own mechanical watches and also an apple watch. I don't think they're mutually exclusive. I mean yes, I would rather wear a mechanical watch everyday, but oftentimes if you're working out or just wanna fly under the radar, the apple watch is a great useful device.

I also feel that alternating between your apple watch and your rolex will keep that sense of occasion alive when you do decide to opt for the rolex. Enjoy in great health and do post pictures

Thankyou for your reply.
I am kind of thinking the same that wearing my Apple watch when running around (mostly during the week days) whereas my Rolex for more relaxed/dressed up occasions will allow me to enjoy both watches.
All of the opinions on this thread have been very helpful.
Thanks everyone!

Apple watch or Rolex...

My wife almost always wears her Apple Watch instead of her Rolex. Her choice, certainly not mine.

I only wear luxury mechanical watches, and will never wear an Apple Watch. Sort of ironic since I’m a technology executive.

There's no need to be torn. Both watches can absolutely co-exist, and these two are quite complimentary.

My answer to your questions is: either when the mood takes me or when circumstances dictate one make more sense than the other to wear.

Enjoy two fantastic watches
