Kurono Tokyo - New Chronograph 1 MK.2 - Anyone placing an order tomorrow?

I always thought his watches were beautiful in pictures I’ve seen, but never saw one in person. I imagine, like many watches, they look even better on the wrist.

With the ordering beginning in less than 15hrs, are any Hajime Asoaka fans putting in their order?

In all honesty, I’m not quite enamored with the dial color on this particular release, but perhaps in time…..

I ordered the Toki when it was announced and got it 7 months laster. Overall I liked the watch. The one gripe I have is that the rotor was very loud but I wore it and enjoyed it for what it was. I wound up selling it a few months ago because I’ve decided to consolidate my collection and focus on a few very specific watches. I like the brand but I’m not as bullish on it as I once was. The Kurono’s are in that weird price point where they aren’t too expensive but also bordering on the “for x amount more I could get x instead” problem.

It seems like you’re already second guessing yourself so I’d hold off if I were you. You should never try and talk yourself into a watch. More interesting dials will definitely come along.

I'm with you - better size (38 OK but the 36 is a bit small for me and 34 was just a joke) and dial colour interesting without being "wow". I have a few hours to decide.

Thanks guys.

I’m gonna pass. I can hold my water for a piece I’m more passionate about. I love this brand, but not in love with this offering.

The Seiko NE86 is a nice chronograph movement.

I like it but I don't like the wait times and the buying procedure.

Huge thanks for heads up. The white dial version is stunning!

I'm not but could totally see why someone would! Nice design and great quality, can't wait to see member pictures when those that ordered them take delivery.

I have the Toki and I really like it. The dial is a great color and the finishing impeccable. I grabbed one of these as well, let’s see when it arrives.

Buying procedure is better than a new Rolex at least.

I got one "second time round" when they re-released some from the Japan market back for previous buyers.
