Is it possible to get extra links for an older Tudor bracelet from AD?

Hey everybody, I have a Tudor 75090 Submariner and a 79260 Oyster Date that both need 1 additional link. Is this something I could source from an AD, or something that I'd have to try to track down on the secondary market?

Also, the 75090 might need a service. If I were to take off the bracelet prior to sending it in, would the RSC be able to supply a new bracelet for it? That may be an option if I can't just acquire an additional link.

You might get all sorts of replies here. Just contact the RSC and ask.

Different RSCs might also give you different answers, so if daddy says no, go ask mom.

You should probably specify the bracelet references instead of the watch references. If you're not sure, show good photos from various angles, including the clasps and any numbers. We can assume which bracelets you have, but we don't really know. In any case, it won't be difficult to find extra links somewhere, so there's certainly no reason to buy an entirely new bracelet.

No reason why not, except for very early pieces.

Tudor used to use Rolex bracelets, so parts are interchangeable, and those that are Tudor specific aren't that old yet.

AD can supply new bracelet for 75090.

As for a service? Any competent watchmaker should be able to service its ETA movement.

Small folded link is what you need for 75090 - I suspect not available. If no luck with AD, DM me I have a few.
79260 won't be folded link it will be a STD 20mm Rolex style oyster link or the 5 wide link jubilee, easier to find. Rgds Paul

Sorry, that's a good point.

The 75090 is a Tudor 9315 Bracelet with 383B endlinks I believe it's 18MM not 20MM

The 79190 is a 78400 with 605 endlinks

Both are oyster bracelets.

yes, normally you can buy extra links, here in belgium it's no problem.

No luck trying to go through AD. Do I just need to call up one of the Rolex Service Centers and talk to them?

No harm in asking Rolex, but I don't think that Rolex is going to provide folded links for a 9315. However, it's not hard to find extra folded links, every collector probably has some lying around. I'm guessing the removable links may even be the same as 7836 links and they must be all over eBay.

I'm not familiar with the other bracelet you mentioned, but if it's more modern, I imagine that Rolex could provide links. It's also possible that the AD you contacted just didn't try very hard.

If you still have no luck finding links, you can email Michael Young at Classic Watch Repair. I have had good luck getting links from him over the last several years.

Cheers,
Merle

Hi- tried to PM you about this but says your inbox is full. Do you still have any 9315 bracelets? Can you reach out to me about these? Thanks!
