In the pictures/video shared above, the date on the salmon dial is slightly on the right instead of being in the center. Is it only me or do others also see it?
If yes, it's the same issue for which my watch is currently with Czapek. And no, it’s not due to someone changing the date during the forbidden period. I am surprised that no one else has reported/observed the same issue with their watches. I can’t be an isolated case. |

It's just you. My date changes quickly just after 12am and is centered all days of the month. I've been beating the ___ out of the Monochrome version and she's been flawless. Seriously, it's just you.

So a friend of mine who got an Antarctique directly from Czapek noticed the same issue on his watch, although not as pronounced as it was on mine. His date also doesn't line up in the center. He will be reaching out to Xavier/Czapek service team.

In the salmon dial video shared above, the date is clearly not in the center. And that is not my watch. |

You are right, my bad. Yeah, I had a Patek with the same situation a long while back. Usually an easy fix.

No problem. All good. I just want others, if they are noticing it on their watches, to report it to Czapek too. At this point, Xavier thinks it’s only isolated to my watch/movement. Thank you.

I've had a couple other issues with it as well that are very intermittent. Occasionally, if I leave the watch resting on its side overnight, it will stop even though there is plenty of power reserve left. I can pull the crown to the second position reset the time, and it won't move. But if I give it just a couple winds, then reset the time, then screw down the crown, it will run normally. This has probably occurred only 5 times and I got mine in the first batch of Passage de Drake's that went out, though mine was a late production date in that batch. Good news is that I know Czapek will stand behind their product and take care of me if this issue becomes more frequent. I love the thing so damn much I really don't want to be without it for weeks while it gets serviced, unless necessary. |

I have to agree with you. The picture shows that the date is not centered. So... I guess it can't be isolated only to your watch.

Dear All,
We do notice that some of you are having date wheel alignment issues. We are taking those comments very seriously; we are currently running some investigations to understand why this might happen on some watches and, of course, we will respond quickly and efficiently as soon as we have identified the problem cause and its solution. After multiple pages of testiness and zealotry in that it can't possibly be a systemic issue...eat crow, enjoythemusic. And thank you, Mike, for being so quick to respond and caring. A lot of brands would have just said 'not our issue' and washed their hands of the whole ordeal.

So…….. I’d like to show you all some photos of my new Quai des Burgues Blue Aurora but this forum does not let me post my images without re-sizing, etc. I’m not a IT specialist, so I find it VERY frustrating to post on this forum. That being said Mike has helped me acquire a VERY nice Czapek I would love to share on this forum if some one can tell me how.

Thanks Yobrooks for the advice. I have the Tapatalk app but don’t know how to use it on this forum. I apologize for sidetracking this thread.

Got that setup, but it still won’t let me post photos. I try to attach it to my post but I always get an error message. Thanks for your help. Apologize for side-tracking this post.

A question on the Antarctique paper passport (for the ones who purchased, and received, the watch directly from Czapek site, without passing through retailers): does the paper passport include any stamp in the Ownership history page? (The page where there is a placeholder named “retailer stamp”). Any customer purchase date filled in such space? Or such space is empty, without any stamp / purchase date (since the sale did not occur through retailer), and with the manufacturing date (to be intended also as warranty period start?) appearing in the previous page, where the various watch details including serial are reported?

I am not sure how the rest of the world works, here in USA direct sales are imported by Czapek Americas, and I write the sale date and "Czapek Americas" in the passport, and then deliver to the customer.
If the watch ships directly from CH to Rome, the passport should be stamped when you receive it. |

I find more and more retailers are “Lazy” and not even bothering to fill out. I’ve had ADs do this and even zenith direct e commerce. Hodinkee guilty too. When questioned my AD on a recent piece just said, fill it in yourself - we don’t even have a stamp. |

I recall this being a common approach of many years ago. But, yes, also today there are “lazy” retailers, brandwise.

In the "old days" a retailer would "do you a favor" and not date the warranty card, the theory was you could date the card your self a bit before you sent your watch in for service. Kind of a free warranty repair even if the watch was older than the warranty period.
Then the brands got wise and put an end to that. Now, if your card isn't stamped or dated, it because your retailer is lazy. |

Not sure if exactly the right thread, but just saw an Antarctique available on the shelf at Cellini - 40,5mm ice white. Would have jumped on it, but still debating a 38,5mm.

Are any others with orders feeling a little bit discouraged by the delays? My order was originally scheduled to be delivered sometime this summer and my AD isn’t even able to provide me with much of a delivery estimate.
I totally understand that delays happen, but it is still a little bit concerning how far behind Czapek seems to be, particularly given how many orders they have on their books. If an order scheduled for Summer 2022 is already 6+ months behind schedule, I worry that orders further out on the schedule will be very significantly delayed. |
