Parmigiani Tonda PF Skeleton

Guys I saw the skeleton in person and it is amazing. The rose gold hand contrast with the dial is really something.

I have seen the AP Skeleton in person and PF blows it out of the water. Job well done

Handled it and thought it wore really classy on the wrist - classier than what a head-on image would indicate (it’s not brash at all and wears pretty slim on my 6.75in flat wrist). Didn’t pull trigger in the end but was impressed.

anyone care to share some general thoughts on this brand? I've seen a few pieces that look awesome and reasonably priced, but I had never heard of it until I saw them?

You can't tell, but if you handle it or see a side profile, the case thinness really adds to the spectacular nature of this watch. I love the constant tension between high horology and stealth wealth. Stainless steel "sports" watch while thin elegant profile. Rose gold accents against the monochromatic scheme.

It's very nice, I fully agree. Tried one last week.
But not to the level of the AP 15407, the absolute king of skeleton watches out there.

I agree. I am a huge Parmigiani fan, but this model didn't look very good to me in-person.

The finishing just looked thin/weak in-person to me versus something like the 15407 and other openworked watches.

I realize there are some inner angles on this watch for example, but there are also tons of spots where they could have done one but didn't...and that kind of rubs me the wrong way. I would have preferred less skeletonization but higher quality finishing.

YMMV. :)

Still a big fan of the OG Toric.
