Should i let them redefine the “faded mile number” on the bezel of my daytona

Should i let the auth. Service center redefine the “faded lines between the mile numbers” on the bezel of a 1993. 16520 … just a few - 5 lines seem to have faded - should we redefine them or would the watch lose value

Do what you want... its your watch. If you want a real answer post a picture. Is it needed? Only you can answer that. Why are you worried about value? You selling it? If you are not then you should follow your heart.

If you’re having is serviced and want it to be pristine, sure. You might end up having it replaced. It’s unlikely the RSC is going to restore a bezel.

I'd probably leave as is unless you use the tachymeter a lot.

There is nothing that would devalue any Daytona or say a 1655 or Glycine Airman by doing it... and it's only paint, and can be removed.

I would leave it as is. But I like watches with “character” myself.

Would definitely redefine. As Paul pointed out it's just paint, and paint that initially defined the numbers on the bezel. It's not like you are changing the bezel out, still all original parts. In the end it depends on what you want. Post a pic.

Yes, what is refine?
IMO paint, sure, definitely. Re engraved? Don’t think so but a pic would help.
