Does one need to have a purchase history to be considered for something like an RM67-01/02 or RM23? Been recently thinking more about getting into RM but the RM11 are too big so would prefer something smaller.

Is this RM model still in production?? Going through the website I realized that the listed pieces in “current” are not actually all current any more. Is there a reliable listing of current vs discontinued models?
Thank you.

That's my biggest beef with RM's website. Can't tell what's current and what's not.

Lange has this problem.

AP has this problem (they even have a "Legacy" section that isn't up-to-date with out of production pieces that remain in their "current" section).

Rolex updates their site properly.

Patek updates their site properly.

Every single car manufacturer updates their site properly.

Airplane manufacturers update their sites properly.

Why can't RM and AP?

😂 That’s a great point…AP especially got to me with their all-ceramic ROOs that remained on the site. And the updated site still has bugs they are working on, such as when I log into my collection. I ended up emailing my AD to ask about select models, but didn’t want to seem like a noob (which in reality I am), so I’ll see what comes of it. In all cases, I do expect a good wait time (and price increase) for any new order.

The new site is horrid to me. Wishlist, account, existing watch collection, all messed up.

And, the collection pages themselves are so disorganized now. I used to be able to group and sort by collection / sub-collection. Now that's impossible.

Spectacular RM030, congrats on a beautiful watch and love it on the white rubber strap. Great Summer touch, kick myself all the time on passing on one last year

Had business meeting with investor group in Abu Dhabi last week. One on their team was wearing this beautiful RM. Took pic with my LV.

Lando Norris (McLaren Formula One driver) had his RM stolen at Wembley at the Euros cup final last night.

Be careful out there gents.

While such things always used to happen, I feel like these are on the rise due to the absurd valuations caused by speculators, hoarders, and flippers/scalpers.

An RM 11-03 listing at $850k on Chrono24? Madness.

Acquaintance of mine is asking which references are considered the entry-point into RM these days?

I don't want to nag my sales guy right now for something I should be able to find online.

Any chance one of my fellow RM collectors here knows? :)

Thank you!

I swear this guy is making me think about Richard Mille more and more each day. But I don’t think I can get the 67-02 as a first RM though. And unlike other brands playing the game to get one is not an option due to its high price for even an entry level piece.

And now it’s available at OneWatch.

The entry point just toward the end of last year was an RM030 or RM67-01, now from what I understand they recommend buying a piece which is already in the boutique to start the relationship. Those are generally Divers or ladies pieces.

Would they consider RM23 as a ladies piece? On the website the ambassador advertising the watch is a female but it appears to be more of a unisex watch? The RM23 is something I'm considering as a relationship starter but if possible would like to acquire the RM67-02 without buying an additional piece...

No shot on the RM67-02.

While each boutique will be different, I'm guessing it'd mean RM74, RM71, RM037, RM016, RM07, in terms of ladies pieces. Otherwise it'll be a mens piece that'll be an RM63-02, RM60-01, RM39, RM032, or RM025. From what I understand, they're emphasizing that to start the relationship they recommend a piece that's in stock and being displayed in the boutique as the first one you purchase.

Thanks for the reply. I think the references you gave are not the signature tonneau shape RM is known for. I will find out more from the boutique once they open again for business in MY. Hopefully the RM23 can be a starter instead of buying a female piece or known round shaped RMs.

Ah, good to know. Thank you!

Speaking of the Divers... I thought they were all out of production? Is that not correct? If so, which ones should be expected to be at boutiques?

Thank you.

Oops, missed this reply when I made mine above.

Thank you! I think this answers it.

(Although, again, I thought the Divers were discontinued years ago?)

When you say RM39, do you mean the 39-01, or the Tourbillon 039?

Also, same question for the 025. It's the tourbillon. Did you mean the 028 (non-Chrono Diver), or did you actually mean the Tourbillon Diver?

Thanks maciej!

My pleasure! I'm just going through this personally, so I'm glad to provide insights and experiences.

I have to say that the process thus far has been fantastic in terms of working with the boutique. There's a significant amount of transparency and candor, something that has been lacking from other manufacturers in my experience lately.

Nice! Love the RM 030. They call it an entry-point, but it's honestly one of their nicer watches, if you ask me.

Enjoy in the greatest of health!
