Well, darn it...broke my GMT

Picked my SBGE201 out of the drawer and went to set the time and date, ( no I don't have a winder), and after a few turns of the crown, the hour hand started slipping and it lost it's hourly "jumps". ... Watched it for a couple of hours and the hour hand appears to have lost it's will to move. The GMT hand still works...

Fortunately, I'm still inside the 3 year warranty window, so off to NJ it goes...Fingers crossed it won't be away too long

Nope- They sent me a link so I could track it's progress, no updates yet other than it says "out of warranty", which, being purchased in October 2018, ( 3 years ) it isn't... So we'll see what happens ....

Too bad. But keep in mind that the 9R66 movement is normally a respected and durable item, as are the other SD's.
Stuff happens.

Yeah, not worried, just a bit bummed out, as I really miss seeing it on my wrist
... good news is status is now "under warranty", so hopefully not too much longer.
