New Non-Rolex watch. Please Help !!!

Hi. I'm in the market for a new non-rolex watch. Out of ignorance, years ago I paid around $3k for a new Tag H, thinking it was a fine timepiece that would last long. I was wrong.
Now I'm thinking about a Breitling Navitimer 1, Breitling Avenger Seawolf, Breitling Superocean Heritage and Omega Seamaster.
What would you recommend ??
Thanks for your help

Omega PO would be my choice to spend your money.
On the ground that it's a technical tour de force and looks great.
If I wanted a chronograph, it'd probably be an Omega Speedmaster Pro, or if I wanted an automatic, an Omega speedmaster racing. Or an IWC pilot chrono over any Breitling.
But that's what I like...

Speedy racing:

IWC pilots, have a look in here : https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=661022:

I have a blue dial seamaster on rubber and really like it. Perfect beach/summer holiday watch in my opinion. I've had some much more expensive watches before (Aquanaut, Royal Oak Chrono etc) but the Seamaster is one I really enjoy wearing more than some of those others.

My recent search for a non Rolex to add to my small collection (GMT and Seamaster) led me to the following;

Speedmaster - hope I don't offend as I know it has a cult following but it did nothing for me
Cartier Santos ADLC - still thinking about this
Breitling Chronomat 42 - strong favourite for now, really LOVE this from a brand I'd never ever had any affinity toward
Hublot Big Bang - haters gonna hate, but I liked it. However it's beyond the budget I've set for this purchase, and can see myself adding a Royal Oak Offshore at some point which would make this redundant

There is some good stuff out there from JLC, new Breitling releases, Omega, etc.

Happy hunting.

I'd personally pick Omega over Breitling. The Emergency line aside, Breitling doesn't seem to have taken watchmaking innovations nearly as far as Rolex or Omega. IWC is another good choice, depending on model and budget.

Which Seamaster are you considering?

In general I would take Omega over Breitling, I own both. I also have a Tag which has had several issues.

That's an excellent choice and great recommendation, it looks awesome and has one of the finest most refined bezels I have ever used and to top it off is the real deal with actual dive ISO certification.

+1 for Omega. Speedmaster Pro., Planet Ocean and the Globemaster are my favorites. Lots of other good choices too.

You’ve listed some, great options there. I’d also add Seiko and Panerai to the mix.
