Rolex explorer 11 16570 dial swap

Hi,
I was at my local Rolex service centre and I asked them if I can swap my black dial to a polar.
The lady said Rolex will not swap dials on sports models but they will On classic models i.e datejust etc.
She said the reason was because the watch is recorded with Rolex under the dial it was born with.
I thought why would it be allowed for datejust then.Probably Rolex don’t want people trying to swap for the most popular dials.
I’ve decided to look for a polar dial and hands and get my watchmaker to do the swap,at least then I’ll be able to keep my black dial.
My question is are the explorer 2 polar dials for the 16570 all the same?I have a 3186 movement and wonder if the hands and dial are the same on the 3185 movement aswell.Obviously ill have a lot more scope if the dials are the same for both movements.
Thanks for any insights

If you have a 3186 calibre then you will need the version 3 Polar dial. This will be the one with Superluminova and Swiss Made.

Thanks,
So is a swiss made dial from a 3185 calibre the same as a Swiss made from a 3186 calibre?

I own a 1999 Explorer II so have an interest in the model. Here is the best summary I have ever seen. https://www.beyondthedial.com/post/c...ces-in-detail/
