Bulova Precisionist 262 kHz

I bought this watch on eBay.It is a discontinued Bulova Precisionist model that was factory refurbished by Bulova and sold by a Bulova AD for $135. It is a quartz watch but it has a very smooth sweeping second hand. It think it beats 16 times a second and the accuracy is around +10 to -10 seconds per year. I use it to hack my automatic watches.

Love the look of the end links in the first pic. Clean dial in the center, easy to read, and a date, Nice! One of my regularly worn pieces is a mid 80's Rado quartz movement. So many watches out there.....

The second hand does not beat at all, it continually rotates.
And the most accurate watch you can buy for under a $1,000.

Only a handful more expensive than a $1,000 that are more accurate.
A good choice.

Great watch!

The Precisionists that I've seen are a bit big for my tastes, but they certainly live up to their name.

Congratulations!

I have the Bulova 96B229 Accutron II Military watch which has the same 262kHz movement - I really enjoy the smooth sweep and accuracy for a grab and go piece.

I got another "manufacturer refurbished" Bulova from the same dealer. This one is a diver and cost $199. It is like new,it still had all the stickers on it which were kind of a pain to remove. They could have been on there for 10 years, lol. Watch is so accurate. I use it instead of time.gov to set my other watches.
