Dury is out for me on this....
Got to admit I did not realise there was a place trading these out here in the colonies. I agree with the critique of many of the Rolex makeovers and I know this is not an original Newman, but I got to say it was still a good looking watch, will have to do some research on asking price, I am sure it will be silly but what the Hey........... Funnily enough I could not see what was different in the sub or Milgauss. But I was in a hurry, it shocked me to see a Newman form corner of my eye. Sorry about the reflection of me with I-phone.......

PVD should be the only difference in the Milgauss and Sub.
The Daytona is a bit troubling as Blaken and Hendrik Jürgens going "down market" and is straying into cloning vintage looks versus his original goal of bespoke customized models. I'm sure he thinks this isn't counterfeiting but it is perilously close IMHO.

I'll be honest, I quite like that Newman Daytona!
and lets face it - it's going to be an awful lot more affordable to the average bloke than the original. The PVD stuff however - HELL NO!! |
