Does anyone have both AP 15400st and PP 5711?
Might be being a bit controversial here. I have just started wearing my 15400, I went to a watch retailer yesterday (took my friend's son to buy a watch). I started to talk to the manager who let me try on his 5711 white dial, I was a bit underwhelmed tbh and was disappointed that I had that feeling. It feels quite delicate and dare I say even feminine when compared to the 15400.
Still at the end of the day I still added my name for the blue dial and the bracelet aquanaut. |

The PP 5711 is best compared to the Jumbo 15202, which is also ultra-thin. Feminine or not is a matter of personal taste. If you preferred rugged looking watch, better to go offshore.

I have a 15400 and a 5712. Different watches for sure and I love both. Its almost the same as a 15400 and a 5711, but i just prefer the dial of the 5712 so I got that instead.
As Ben said a 15202 and a 5711 (or 5712) is a better brand head to head. If you think the 5711 is feminine then you would probably say the same with a 15202. I wouldn't say "feminine" though but I get what you mean. |

I tried on the 15202 a couple of years ago and thought it was fine. I did have a 15300st a few years but I sold that (stupidly) because I thought it wore a bit small.
I don't know, perhaps I was wrong to judge the PP after only wearing it for 10 minutes. |

Yep I have the 5711 and the 15400.Both Have whiteface and they are two of my favorites, although I wear the 5711 more.Iwould never say the 5711 is”feminine” far from it. IMO it is a work of art. James in San Antonio , tx

I sold my 15400 shorty after I acquired my 5711. I still would recommend the 15400 first to anyone looking to step into either AP or PP as it’s a really good value and has all the finish and beauty!
At the time I felt that the 5711 fit my 7” wrist better

Have the 5711 blue and silver 15400. Honestly prefer the 15400 but they wear vary differently. The 5711 fits perfectly and the 15400 has more heft to it. They are quite different.

I had a 15400, and have a 5726 and 15202, worn multiple 5711 on occasion. The 5711 is way thinner than the 15400 and is better to be compared to the 15202. From the bracelet lug thickness and weight, its more delicate and thinner than the 15400.
But I actually like the 15202 and 5711 better than the 15400. The bracelet feels tight and made more solid for some reason while being thinner. The play between each lug is far less than the 15400. The only thing the 15400 has is the heft. |
