Easily the Explorer for me.

That's a nice early 14270 'blackout' model you have there

I’ve owned both. I will be wearing my 124270 on my honeymoon, to Yosemite National Park, in two weeks. Yikes!

The Explorer, for the mountains or anywhere else! The Speedmaster has never been my cup of tea, but that's just me...

I agree completely. There really isn't a situation that the Exp1 (especially in 36mm) can't be suited for, save for the formalist of affairs. The Speedmaster is neat & I respect it & it's history, but it's not for me. Chronographs aren't really for me. Wore a chronograph every day of my Navy career & never actually had a need to time anything except anecdotal data.

I feel the same way about chronographs, in general, but there is something very special about a black dial wind up Speedy, with the hessalite crystal. I regret selling mine. As for the Daytona, I don’t get the appeal.

Speedmaster for me. I find the exp1 photographs well but just doesn’t do it for me in person.

The 321 is such a better watch it’s not even a contest.

As much as I love your Explorer the 321 is in another league

Lol @ choosing the 14270 over the Ed White.

I mean this in the most constructive way possible -- some of y'all need to look into other brands every once in a while.

Love both…and even not being a huge Omega fan, I’d still have to take that 321 over the Ex1 in a heartbeat.

Looks right at home! I sure do love wearing mine in its natural habitat (unfortunately less likely I’ll be able to do the same for my Ed White).

Honestly the Ed White is hard to beat period, one of the best watches on the market IMO.

Thanks Brian. You might even say the 321 is out of this world

Look closer - not a standard 14270 Ed White is hard to beat regardless, but I do love the Explorer (and mountains).
