Bruce Wayne and Pepsi in the same collection?

Would you keep a Bruce Wayne and a Pepsi both on jubilee in the same collection?

Yes but I am biased. Would rather have the Batman and Pepsi.

Not me, I had an opportunity to get a Bruce Wayne and passed.

I’d want the BW on oyster if paired w Pepsi on jubilee. Think it looks better on oyster regardless.

Probably not. I’d keep the BLRO and then get something else instead of another GMT.

Definitely. I’ve got a BLRO and the BW looks great. The GMT Master II ‘s are exceptional another on my radar is the Titanium YM. I’ll pick up one or the other in the next year or two depends on what opportunity presents 1st.

Absolutely yes. The Bruce Wayne is much more subtle and would make an amazing daily IMO. The Pepsi is a nice watch to rotate in for special occasions or just whenever you want a little more flash.

I also think that the Bruce Wayne looks good on oyster, but if you're wearing it every day the Jubilee will not show the wear/scratches nearly as much as it gets worn in... which makes it a better choice in the end for me.

Me too. I’d put the money on a 5 digit GMT

Sure. I have both in my collection and I think it goes well together. I find myself wearing the GRNR more than the BLRO though.

I know lots of people do but I have a GMT and a Daytona and no desire to add another configuration of either.

Probably not.

I always have this single thought when considering a new watch. Would I wear it over my X, Y, or Z? If I don’t see myself reaching for it in the future, I just pass.

I would, with the caveat that the Pepsi is a four or five digit model and not the latest version

Depends on what else is in the collection.
I wouldn't if it's your only two.

If I had a BLRO I would rather have the 124060 vs another GMT.

I wouldn't, but I could understand why some would. I do think it's a pretty hard sell with both on Jubilee. I'd be much more inclined to keep both around if one were on an Oyster bracelet.

This is probably the best answer. Collecting for the sake of collecting vs. buying watches to compete in a royal rumble for the pleasure to be on your wrist.

There was a time when I had both a BLRO and a BLRN in my collection. I had the latter for 5 years and I was very sentimental about it, but after receiving it, the Pepsi lasted only a year. I assumed that two GMT-Mater IIs were one too many for me, and I sold my Batman. I looked at and wore the new Bruce - a great, understated watch. However, I think that in a long-distance clash with Pepsi, it will not stand the test of time with Pepsi. I think that despite everything, the two best GMTs are Pepsi and Batman, and in exactly the order I gave. Bruce is third, ahead of the cross-eyed Sprite.
