I finally got around to doing some reading on this watch. What an OUTSTANDING piece this is. Just incredible complications on there. And beautiful to boot. I have never seen one of these before. Thanks for posting!

Supposed to be a bright moon tonight. Outside, not on your wrist.

It is a great piece. Here is a photo from March 20th showing the vernal equinox - wire is straight across the earth showing equal length day at night.
In the previous image you can see the wire deflected up showing the North Pole in permanent darkness.

Wow, very cool. Had no idea it did that, and I don't know mechanically how they were able to pull that off! Amazing timepiece!

I realize tonight is a “pink moon” but for me a blood moon will suffice:

I actually gave my mom her Mother’s Day gift 3 days early (today instead of on May 10th) because it is a Moonphase watch!

Too bad I didn’t take a picture of the full moon. This is a picture of when it arrived.

I've learned from this thread most owners don't know how to set (or care for) the moonphase. Nice watches everyone!

Great gift! I was actually going to recommend this when you had asked the question but someone beat me to it or you had already bought it.
