Citizen Watches Picture Thread.

Citizen watches are nice and inexpensive so many people like them. I'll start with my vintage duo from the 80s. Let's see more pics.

My stash of vintage Citizens. All from 1976 except the Leopard (from 1972).

Citizen Watches Picture Thread.

Hey Flavio! Thanks for stating this thread.

When I turned 13 my dad took my older brother and I to the mall to look for “a good watch.”

He had Bulova, Hamilton and Citizen watches back in his day. To this day he has a manual wind Citizen that he bought back in 1976 or something like that, as an immigrant in America.

Anyway, he suggested that we each pick a Citizen and that we take care of them because they can last forever.

Here is mine. I wore it for several years, wore it for everything except showering and sleeping I think. Then one day, I stopped wearing watches altogether, and well now I’m back haha

Once all of this crap is over, I will get it serviced and wear it again

Citizens are inexpensive....oh wait, and then there’s the chronomaster (which is not PP money, but getting into second hand price territory of Tudor, Omega, and even some Rolexes)

True. The company also has 100 years of history. This is a nice article here for those that may be interested.

Try the caliber 0100 pictured above...not cheap, makes the Chronomaster seem inexpensive, closer to PP money...and I'm quite jealous actually. One of my grails. I actually called Citizen to see if they had any more in stock. Nope.

BTW, Citizen is new to me this since mid February... I bought this and I like it a lot. Nearly a perfect watch in my opinion.

In collecting citizens, price is not a major factor.

They make wonderful watches.

Like most of their vintage chronographs are flybacks. None of my modern Rolex and Omega chronographs have that complication.
