Icon20 1680 Service Questions

I have a 1680 which I purchased new in 1981. It’s in good condition but the bezel fell off and I’m unable to find it. I sent it to Rolex because It’s never been serviced and they sent me a list of required repairs and a few optional recommendations. The required recommendations include the bezel, spring, and crown. The suggested repairs include the hands and dial. The hands and dial have patina and no longer glow in the dark. I would like to have that feature again but not if it means destroying the value of my vintage watch. Will replacing the crown, hands, or dial reduce the value? Also, the bezel Rolex is installing is the 5512 60MIN Black ST and SPRING. Should I be concerned that it’s not a 1680? Rolex is suggesting the 5512 bezel for unknown reasons.
Crown is 704-0 AC MONOBLOC

These are the optional parts Rolex suggested. Will these diminish the value of my watch?
DIAL 1680-0 BLACK MARKERS LGN
HANDS 5513-0 /1655 /1675 240 G BATON LUMI
SECOND HAND TR 1665-0 240 85 G DISQ LUMI

If these replacements, especially the bezel, will diminish the value substantially, do I have any alternatives?

Thank you!

Replacing the dial and hands will greatly affect the value of your watch. Unfortunately the replacement bezel can also affect the value slightly, but as you lost the original one not much can be done there so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I'm not sure about the crown so I'll let other members chime in, but definitely make sure they don't change the hands or dial.

Don’t replace the dail and hands!! The rest of the work is no problem but a LOT of the value of your watch lies in the dial and the original matching hands. I would avoid having Rolex polish the watch also. The crown is not an issue on a late 1680.
