Flew cross country in an RCAF Hercules once. Had a boxed lunch. White bread sandwich with cheese slice, apple, bag of chips, and a bottle of water. No earplugs.

Just last month, right after my flight landed in SFO, someone a few rows from me decided to light up a cigarette. The FAs were going nuts yelling at the passenger on the intercom, and all of the other passengers were looking at one another, going WTF? Bizarre to see nowadays.
