Panerai strap quick change mechanism, demonstrated by CEO

How many watch company CEOs would meet up with collectors and demonstrate the new quick release mechanism on their latest watch? I think you'd be hard pressed to find another, as S. Angelo Bonati meets with Paneristi all over the globe and attends GTGs as his schedule permits. He also signs and gives away agendas to Paneristi.com for raffles/contests.

Very cool.
I recieved a suprise in the mail this morning.
Not from Mr Bonati, but a fellow Paneristi.
The coveted Panerai Yacht cap.

I wonder how many times he has practiced that. The quick change mechanism is slick but I still fumble with it every time even after 30 or so strap changes.

No problem on the hat John I hope you can use it, but can you tell me what the clip is for? So it doesnt blow away?

The clip is to attach to the back of your shirt, so when I am on my yacht, and a gust of wind catches the cap, it doesn't end up in the drink.
Now, I just need that yacht

I guess you can just cut it off then, unless the yacht is in the plans for the future. I'd probably attach it to the life jacket cause I'm sure I'd end up in the drink!
