I tried on the 1312 recently but prefer the 312. Not keen on the blue second hand and I find the 'Automatic' on the dial a bit off-putting. Also, as pointed out by Cru, there might be some difficulties pairing up new straps because of the blue second hand. On a positive note, it does have a new movement and is much lighter and thinner that its predecessor

If you prefer an Arabic dial, have a look at the 1359

Ooof.

That blue hand looks off.

I know other watches do this. ALS, Stowa, SEIKO... Just does not look right here.

No

The blue hand looks silly.

A simple updated 312 with slimmer movement would have sufficed. God they frustrate me sometimes

I prefer the new ones. The key for me is the slimmer case. Same ole PAM look / feel. Im gonna add 1392

Blue hand, faux patina and 'automatic' kill it for me.

I would want a 1359, I need to the skimmer case. Just make a few strap with blue stitches and you'll be fine :D

The case was what stopping me from buying a 359 in the first place.

Tried it on at my local AD today. I was wearing my 312, so was able to compare them side by side. IMO, it's a bit too thin for my taste. I bought the 312 because I like the 1950 case size and weight. The new version is nice, but I don't think I'll be "upgrading" any time soon.
