111

I have the chance to get a 111 from an AD. I tried one on a year ago when on holiday and was very keen, but memory can play tricks, so would like opinions as its 200 mile drive and they won't hold without a deposit.

Any views both good and not so good welcome. Is it realistic to get a discount? Extra straps maybe? Are these easy or hard to come by?

Thanks in advance

BNIB from an AD is probably not as easy these days. Is it worth a 200 mile drive? Not for me. I see these for sale here often enough. I personally prefer the 112 to the 111. I'm not a fan of replacing the 9 o'clock with the small seconds. I also don't like any " ___ Day" on the dial (not that the 111 has that, but it seems all of the new historic models do).

Very odd that the AD still has one since it's now out of production. Grab it until is too late, of course I am biased too, being the happy owner of a 111.

A great watch. I wish I had kept mine.

It's not a higher end model so I would not expect free straps.
