My pick from the above is the 112. It doesn't get any better than the clean dial with no sub dial is classic Panerai, imho.

i vote for 112.
panerai is supposed to be simple and clean. i have tried the other pams but end up going back to the clean dials. |

They don't come much plainer than my 231.
I'd choose the 112 Todd.

yup! not sure why 111 isn't in the mix, but, if it were, i'd say 000 > 112 > 111 > 005 (with the 111 and 112 switching positions on almost a daily basis for me, ). as mik said, though, no wrong choice here, just personal preference. |

There seems to be a few considerations that always pop up for the Panerai buyer
1. Do you want an in house movement? 2. How busy do you like the face? 3. Painted/Sandwich dial? Once you know what you like and can answer these (and other Q's) you will probably have lead yourself to the right model. Each of the ones you are looking at are beautiful pieces. My 2 cents. Keep us posted |

000. Simply because the LOGO will differentiate from your collection. If you get a 111 or 112, you will soon want to trade up, but a Zero with the logo, unless you have a 360 or prev model, will be the one with the logo, special in that sense.

One more thought...How do you prefer the finish of the case? Do you like the all polished or brushed with polished accents?
