I am looking at buying a GP 1966 in pink gold as it has a lot of value for the money at around USD9000 brand new. GP has everything I could ask for ie. Rich history & pedigree, Grand Prix awards winner, great brand reputation, high quality & finishing, reliable in house movement....Before I pull the trigger, are there any other pink gold dress watches I should consider? Thanks so much for your advice.

nice watch! i also like the blue dial version.

it lists for CHF 16,500, so, that's quite a discount you have there.

I’d be leaning more towards the grey dial version, but in answer to your query, have a look at the Parmigiani Tonda 1950 and pre-owned Moser & Cie.

Assuming 41mm isn’t too big for your wrist, you should take a serious look at the Minerva Villeret from when they were their own brand.

I just learned that GP 1966 comes with pressure-fit case. Should I be concerned?

It's rated to 3 ATM. GP is a top-notch house with centuries of watchmaking history. No, I don't think you should be concerned.

GP 1966 is a great dress watch and a (relative) bargain. I like dress watches and even in a crowded and more expensive field this one gets its' share of wrist time (41mm version for my big wrist).
