Omega Speedmaster

Gents,

Looking to purchase a brand new omega Speedmaster. I certainly want an automatic, but not sure exactly what model to go with. I love the traditional white and black on stainless. I do not want the manual. But want that traditional look. Thoughts? Please include pictures if you can!

Thank you.

Sounds like you might like the Co-Axial Moonwatch. Has that classic look, but with an automatic cal. 9300.

Great quality, accuracy and stability.
Owned it for 3 years. But it's very big watch.

Before the Speedy 9300 hit the streets, a moon watch with auto movt was available with these specs - 44mm, auto, co-axial 3300(?) movt, SS bracelet, 3 sub dials. Not sure you'll find one BNIB unless it's NOS.

The Speedy 9300 only has two sub dials so not really a "traditional" look, imho.

Like you, I also wanted a Speedy but with an auto movt. and a date function. And since I couldn't find a used or decent piece with the 3300 movt I decided to buy the newer 9300 movt in leather and I am very happy with it still after 3 months of daily wear. And no, it's not too big at all. It is also light weight wise.

OMEGA 311.30.44.50.01.002

My 2 cents.
