Wedding gift

Hey guys,

First post here, been reading for a little bit. Excited to share a gift my parents picked up for my future wife for our upcoming wedding. It's her first Rolex.

Rolex 126233 - DJ 36 TT with champagne dial/diamond dial markers

Struggled with the eternal 31 v 36 debate but decided 36 even though she's got skinny wrists, seems like the bigger watch style is here to stay and she seemed to like the 36 more when we tried them on a couple months ago. Also was considering the silver diamond dial but they discontinued those on the new model. Considered the white MOP too.

Very excited!!

MOP dial with diamonds cost more and looks more expensive.

She should be the person to choose.

Fantastic. My wifey wears a two tone white dial 36 DJ with small wrists and it looks superb. Hope your future wife enjoys!

That's what my girlfriend has been telling me as well. I thought she'd lean towards a SS model but she wants a two-tone DJ for this exact reason. Guess what I'm trying to source now...

It's just funny how men and women approach this hobby.

I feel you amigo, finding the right combination DJ on a relatively short notice was not easy. Don't get me wrong, it's certainly no SS model in terms of scarcity but ADs/Grey seems to have the DJ combinations you're not looking for.

From my (wife's) experience, the 36 is the way to go. She'll love it forever! Nicely done...

With those two watches you should have bargained for a BLRO.

Congratulations and best wishes.

Two tone = lots of flexibility for her and only one watch you have to buy for you!! Unless...

Beautiful!! Definitely 36!

My wife has small wrists and it took me forever to talk her out of the 41. In hindsight, that was of course a mistake since it would’ve ended up on my wrist in the long run.
