Speedy Co-axial

Hi. I am sitting by the phone waiting for the call from my AD to tell me my new Speedy Co-axial Chronogrph has finally arrived.
Has any one here had theirs arrive yet ? I am so looking forward to seeing and owning this watch as I purchased it really from just a photograph. Bit nervious though now waiting ......

Is it still 42mm? What's the price on this, if you don't mind me asking.

Simon.

Hi Simon. This Speedy is on a 44.25mm case and has the Omega caliber 9300 movement with a sapphire Crystal case back, Cost was RRP £5300, but managed to get 15% off as I deal with My AD a lot

I saw one in person at an AD in Oslo two weeks ago. It is a beautiful watch!

That was the Speedmaster 50th Anniversary that came out in 2007, an absolutely stunning piece, I might add! This is a brand new one, one of two models showcasing the new cal. 9300 chronograph movement, the other being the new Planet Ocean Chrono. I had the chance to try one on the other day, it's absolutely gorgeous, the boxed display case back is really unusual

Still No phone call

Thank you everyone who wrote in this post. I am afraid I have had no phone call from my AD to tell me it is in yet, hopefully I will do next week. I will post actual photos of the watch ASAP after I get it, till then more sleepless nights I guess (but I would not have it any other way, I love the feeling of anticipation waiting for a new arrival)

OK thanks for this.

I think there is a local dealership which still has a new one of these, what do you think a good price would be for it bearing in mind it is now quite old for 'new stock'? (I think the ref no is 311.33.42.50.01.001)

Thanks again.

It's cool they put the new movement in it, but why only 2 subdials?! Kills the classic Speedmaster look.

Because it doesn't need 3 dials anymore? The previous stopped hours at 6 and minutes at 3 are now combined at the 3 o'clock position, which also allows the date to be moved from the much dreaded 4:30 to 6 o'clock position. What you get is a less busy, cleaner dial. I like it.

I am still waiting for the phone call to say it has arrived at my AD, I am getting a little impatient now. AD Say it's expected around mid October, so I still have not seen this watch yet, only in the photos on Omega web page.

Unfortunately, the new watches have been slow to come through so far. I believe that the dedicated boutiques have priority right now. Of the new models, we've had a lady's PO, the Olympic Aqua Terra Chrono, and a couple of new variants with Constellation and the regular Aqua Terra. No word on the new Speedmasters, though

I prefer the traditional 3 sub dials.

Same here. Call me crazy, but when I think of chronographs I think of 3 subdials.
