Yeah, a good conditioned DJ is hard to come by from what I've been seeing and the prices are definitely up....especially one with a desirable dial (besides the sigma, wideboy, doorstep, confetti etc examples, I think in general dark dials like black and blue are highly preferred vs white/champagne etc). I'm not exactly sure if they're undervalued so much as everything else is completely inflated....and in turn these are getting dragged up too. Just my 2 cents.

Agree with this entirely.

My wife recently blessed me with this TT DJ 16013 with papers, box, cert, service papers and box, and red tag, for Christmas 2018... we paid $2450.00. It's in great shape, slight jubilee stretching but lugs and edges are crisp. Clasp is slightly over-polished though.

I used to get these watches for 1.8k - 2k about 10 years ago, the prices seem to be climbing. Specially for the vintage models in good shape, and forget about it if they have box and papers.

Wonder if you knowledgeable Lady & Gents consider this one to be a rare dial.

This is my late father's 6305 from 1955.

I bought my blue 1601 back in 2005 for c$1600. This has haunted me for years since the guy had a nice white 1680 for about c$3300. It’s fun to see these 1601s move up. For so long these were forgotten value wise. I pen the past I felt these were often bought for their movements and 20mm bands and parted out.

That’s absolutely true. The bracelet was an option when new so not all came with one, but most of the head only watches you see for sale have the tell tale end link marks on the lugs.

Also the pan pie, tapestry, etc. I am fan of datejust and find them beautiful and perfect size at 36mm

Love my vintage DJ with the dauphine hand, coin bezel and patina date wheel. It looks even better in person.
