So interesting. Tage said the same exact thing to me. And he too has had and driven everything under the sun. His garage looks like a super car showroom.

This is all very exciting. Cant wait.

Did you sell the monster Benzo because of your traffic infraction?

Dang. That was a nice car!!

Bad news, bro. You can’t but help getting a ticket in a brand spanking new 911!!

Nice build.

If your order has not locked yet, have you ever considered deviating stitching on the dash/ door/ seats?

I got 2 tone interior and I always love the look of the color stitching on the dash and top door trim every time I get in.

You don’t have to go crazy and get it everywhere. Just dash and top trim of doors will be fantastic. (I think there is at least 3 or 4 parts of the door that you can get stitching on iirc.) And my personal preference is to pick blue (if a brighter blue is available) to go with the blue trim and it is more subtle since you already have yellow belts.

That comment really stuck with me. It’s continuing to manifest in a few ways actually.

Realistically, I sold it because I’m similar to a squirrel with my attention span.

It was a glorious car. But time to try something new.

And this car while actually a bit faster, will be much more of a cruiser. And maybe some narly twists and turns.

Besides, I just got two points off my liscense by taking the defensive driving course. I should be okay. I hope.

Appreciate this feedback.

I just checked into it a bit.

Love it. But with the yellow and blue accents inside, I’m thinking I’ll keep it as it is. I don’t want to make it busy. Just some subtle accents.

I do like many of the pics I saw and would do it. Just not with what I’ve currently got.

Congrats Seth and great choice.

My neighbour dailys his McLaren 570S (bright orange, no less), although a 911 much more practical in that regard. Nice spec you have there

I passed on the 458 because I just couldn’t take the chance of a breakdown. And if I’m that worried, I have to admit I can’t afford it. Loved the 570 spider, but getting in and out was not easy for me. And also too expensive. Not sure I can feel comfortable in such a car. Not yet.

This wasn’t all that much cheaper. Especially how it was spec’d. But it’s more palatable, will have better depreciation and it suits me better at this time in my life.

Completely irresponsible. But live one time. And besides cars and watches, I’m mostly super responsible. So here she is. It’s gonna be a long wait.
Congratulations!!!

That's one sexxxy ride!! A Targa and a manual are great choices!!

I took delivery down in ATL as well. I enjoyed it so much, I took my dad down there and we paid to do the driving experience. You will have a blast!

Plenty of members in the ATL area, but I am only a little over an hour away and I would love to see the car. Let me know if you want to grab drinks, dinner, lunch, etc.

I have odd taste in vehicles. I love my Land Cruisers. There's a '72 Pantera in the garage I am "borrowing" for a while, but I'd never drive that as a daily driver. My daily driver now is a 2017 Ford Focus RS. I wanted an Evo for so long and they discontinued them. I previously wanted a Ford GT40, but couldn't ever afford one. And I also previously wanted a Toyota FJ Cruiser. All these discontinued cars I never jumped on made me sell my 3/4 ton diesel to buy the Focus RS. The first brand new vehicle I've ever purchased. I've always been a huge rally fan so when I heard Ford was discontinuing the RS in the USA I had to do it. It's black. No one knows much what it is other than a Ford Focus. lol. But I love it. Occasionally I'll get stares or have people point at me and talk about it but they're all teenagers. All of the adult (non-rally fans) I know just think I am stupid for selling my Denali to buy "just a Ford Focus."

If I did have an actual exotic car, I don't think I'd be willing to drive it as a daily driver. My other neighbor has a Ferrari and he uses it as a fun car / weekender, but doesn't daily drive it either.

Your pics and posts were a huge factor in this. It’s just so damn pretty. Loved the grocery run thread the most, I think.

But yeah, you definitely helped in this decision.

Can’t come soon enough. I’m waiting very impatiently.

Why spec a 991 when the 992 is being delivered in a couple of months?

Edit: Just saw your later post. I hope they gave you a good discount on this then if you didn't opt for the new model.

Hahaha, yes, I still drive it daily. Skipped one or two snow days, but that's more because of other people around here who can't drive :)

I know you will love it!

Not convinced yet on the rear end of the 992, especially when the spoiler deploys. The interior is on the fence for me as well. You made a great choice, and spec’d it beautifully!
