New 38mm ROC: Updated pics from Switzerland

I think both dials look amazing.
The bracelet will be the same size (width) as the 15450, which is a bummer. Was hoping for a slightly wider bracelet, a la the 15202.

Same bracelet width as the 15450? Are we 100% sure on that?

If so, that is a total deal breaker for me. I'm fine with the dial size of the 15450 but that tapered bracelet is too small.

Too bad, because I was intrigued by a 38mm ROC.

My AP contact who is there at SIHH sent these pics to me. I asked specifically about the bracelet, and he said it is the same bracelet size as the 15450.

I hope he's wrong as well, b/c that's a deal breaker for me too.

These both look great!!!
I’m actually excited about it being the same bracelet as the 15450! Because maybe in the future they’ll come out with a 38mm ROC on a rubber bracelet and I’ll be able to get the bracelet for my 15450

Blue sub dials look great !

Is there that much difference between the amount of taper on the jumbo vs. 15450 bracelets ? Any side by side pics

What, what, a 38mm ROC? This sounds like perfect size for me! Share the concerns about too small/tapered bracelet though.

I think the size is great. The tapiserrie on these dials seems to be of similar quality to that of the 15400/15404, which imho are not at the same level as the dial that's on the 15202..

For me, it is. The extreme tapering on the 15450 bracelet is just too skinny. And I am not a size queen. I am fine with a 36-39mm dial.

Does anyone happen to have a side-by-side comparison shot of the 15450 bracelet vs. the 15400 bracelet? Would love to compare the two. Without having ever seen a 15450 in person, I was very excited when the 38mm ROC was announced. Now I have some reservations.

Don’t have a 15400 to compare to, the keyboard was the best thing I could come up with for people to be able to have a comparison point… here’s my 15450:

i know ROs are scratch magnets and can see in your photo as well, but how is it in person? actually noticeable or not really? or did you just accept it for what it is lol

ROs get a bad rap when it comes to scratches. IMO they are less prone to scratches than most Rolexes, especially those with PCLs. A little wrist awareness is all one needs to keep a RO looking mint.

I’ve had it for about 6 months now, worn it every single day since I got it. I don’t think I have any scratches on the case itself, at least none that I can see. There’s a few hairlines on the polished surface of the bezel but they’re just hairlines. I do have a few scratches on the bracelet, I think you might be able to see one on the photo. I do see all the time it since it’s on the part of the bracelet that’s always facing me (and the damn bracelet keeps shouting/shining at me to look at it! ), but it doesn’t bother me at all. They’re visible but I don’t think they take away from the incredible finishing that is the bracelet.

I'm glad the new 38mm RO line is being well received, that means more options in the future
