Opinions on this 16808
What caught my eye was the case condition...stellar IMO.
What bothers me is the bracelet polishing and specifially the worn down clasp. Anyone know off hand what a replacement 16808 clasp would run, if I could even get one. The price feels right and those sharp lugs really sing to me. Your thoughts? |

8 million serial, somewhere in the mid-80s.
Not vintage enough for an opinion? |

I'm sure that members would like to help, but it's not clear what specifically you want to know. Yes, the case looks nice. And yes, the clasp is polished. We don't know the asking price. A dial photo would also be welcome.

I was also inquiring as to the cost of a clasp if anyone had knowledge of that. Worn down crowns drive me a bit nuts, but bad cases are far worse. I passed on a dozen DDs before I picked one that I liked...all the bracelet crowns were little nubs. Finally found one that made me happy. Let me dig up a dial photo. |
