Favorite Airport Lounge?

Sitting here in the Delta Lounge @ DIA (Denver International). Curious what other lounges you’ve been to and enjoyed?

I wouldn’t say this one is my favorite by any means. The food is mediocre and it’s small. But it’s pour your own alcohol so that helps to make it up a little bit.

I would say my favorites, thus far, are the Amex Centurion Lounges. Only been to 2 (Seattle and Vegas), so far, but both have been great.

Cheers!

Not seen that many lounges, but the one that was the best was Oman Air lounge at bangkok airport (Suvarnabhumi).
It has basically everything you want, not many people, good food, alcohol even the bigger names, nespresso coffee, shower that looked nicer than the one at my 5 star hotel. (Did not use it though) Also iMac's you can use.

I tend to see the lounges from ''airline's'' themselves always are better than the ones not related to an airline company.

JAL First class lounge at Haneda (chef and/or buffet service, John Lobb shoe repair/polish service room, and sparkly champagne & chocolate room)

Most CX lounges at HKG, but only depending how busy/empty they are

Frankfurt LH First

And getting old, but the BA First lounges at LHR when not packed with human cattle

In my domestic travels, I have liked the Amex lounges and also the Escape (Priority Pass) lounges. Use the Escape lounge at MSP quite a bit on outbound flights, even though there are two Delta lounges I could also visit.

I have Amex Plat and their lounges are pretty nice but when I go to Southeast Asia, Priority Pass has a lot of lounges over there (part of the benefits for Amex Plat members).

Was there a couple summers back. It indeed was very nice.

But the British Airways Concorde First Class lounge at London Heathrow was a couple magnitudes better.

Interestingly, the flight experience in JAL first class from HND-SFO crushed BA first class from LHR-HND.

Nice! Oddly enough I watched "Up in the air" starring George Clooney yesterday. I wonder if Gerardo has a favourite lounge

I agree. If you travel enough, the Priority Pass privilege is worth it on its own; let alone the other perks. After I left the Delta lounge, I went to a restaurant (Timberline Steaks & Grille) where I got $28 off my bill. So combined between the two, I made out positive today.

My overseas lounge experience was pleasant. But given that I have the Amex lounge access, I do enjoy the Centurion lounges. Even though there aren’t many of them - it’s a nice treat when you’re in an area that has one!

Oman Air at the old Muscat terminal was very good. I've heard the new one is as good, but haven't seen it yet.

So far for me it was the Cathay lounge in Taipei. Roomy, great food and beverage selection, and best of all a legit espresso machine and barista, not the automatic ones typically found in lounges. I did not sleep on the following flight.

Subway at Terminal B/C in PHL. You have to pay for the food, and technically, it's not a lounge. But there are a bunch of tables in a common area. I like to pretend it's invite only. Makes me feel better about myself as I eat my 6" Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki.

Emirates, Qatar, Qantas first class lounges around the world, Terminal 5 BA first class is nice, Singapore Airlines first class in Singapore. Sorry sounds like a snob but US airline lounges are like bus terminals. The American lounge in LA and Dallas are about as good as they get which is not very good.

The only lounge access I have is through Priority Pass. The Club at ATL isn't half bad due to the open bar although sometimes the bartenders aren't that great. I always stop in before departure and upon arrival. The Aspire lounge at AMS is nice with their pour your own drinks set-up.

Emirates and Etihad First and Business class lounges are the best I've been in.
Emirates in Dubai and Etihad in Abu Dhabi.

no it isnt. there is a FC lounge AND the concorde room. The concorde room has more restrictive entry. You have to be traveling in first class (which means international long haul) and you cant gain entry based on status.

The FC lounge is open to an economy passenger flying short haul as long as they are BA gold status, the concorde room is not.

I like the AMEX Centurion lounge in HK. It's not big but it's usually quiet and it has both asian and western food
