Wallet(s) Follow Up
I read the wallet threads here and decided to upgrade my old Coach wallet. I thought about getting a Goyard card holder when we were in France. But a) my wife really didn’t like it, and b) I wasn’t sure it was really me.
I ended up customizing a Monk Made card holder which I really like. Beautiful leather and very small. I also got a LV Epi Pocket Organizer in navy blue. I found it new on eBay and saved a bit of money. I did walk it into an LV store and they gave it the thumbs up. I have been somewhat alternating the two of them although I have been slightly “babying” the LV. I try not to put keys in the same pocket as it. Lol. The only thing I’m still getting used to is that both are very small so fitting credit card receipts into them (they are still new and stiff) isn’t as easy as with a full size wallet. But I love the small size. Thanks everyone for getting me to think outside the Coach box! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Have that exact LV wallet and it’s super old and still looks fantastic. Epi is without a doubt the way to go. A true classic.

I don't usually like LV.
That one is beautiful.

I’ve been using an LV pocket organizer for several years. Love it.

That is a nice set. I think I am going to add a daimer cobalt pocket organizer to my cobalt Card holder/money clip. I downsized but there are a couple items I would like to have that I cannot fit in the card holder/money clip thing. Sure beats the old school big checkbook style wallets I have carried for years. Love the LV money clip/card holder.

I like the look of the LV. Would you just fold cash and keep in the middle??? Unsecured???
I currently use a Z clip Lemans but have been looking at other options. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

I had the Monk Made card holder open in the middle so I could stick a 20 or a credit card receipt. The LV has a lot more slots: four on the right, and then two or three on the left. Also the back has an opening which you could use for money or CC receipts. I still haven't quite figured out the best approach. I've only had both of them for a couple of weeks. Long term users above may have some good ideas.

I let my cash ride loose in the middle of my PO. Been fine but I only keep 5-10 bills at a time.

I have had the same exact one since Valentine's day last year. It's my favorite sized wallet design - perfect for a couple credit cards, ID, a few business cards on the outside slit. I usually keep minimal cash on me and find that it never gets too stuffed.

Interesting. I just keep a $20 folded up in one of the inner pockets. Think I'll try your idea, maybe for CC receipts. I never thought of not having something in a sleeve.
