Panerai 999 Green Dial 45mm Beauty!

I've been meaning to post this for a while since my last trip to the UK. Whilst in the London watch district I tried on the Panerai boutique only 999.

What a beautiful watch, not just one of the best looking Pams that I've ever seen but one of the nicest watches period. I loved the strap, size dial and look. I've tried to buy it since but my boutique in Jeddah hasn't received one yet and I'm starting to regret not pulling the trigger when I tried it on, plus as a Saudi Expat resident with tax off I could have got it for just over GBP 8,000.

Anyway I just wanted to share a couple of photos of what I thought was quite an astounding looking watch.

I just got the 995, and I freaking love it. When they announced this series with the green dials, I didn’t really think much of it. But seeing them in person, and having it in the wrist...there was no turning back.

These new green dial references are so damn sexy. If only my wrist could pull one off...

I was unsure for years about it, but after grabbing my first recently I kick myself for not doing it sooner. They do not wear nearly as large as I always assumed.

I swear my SkyDweller looks bigger on my wrist then the 47mm Radiomir.

I've owned a few 44m Luminors in the past. I can pull it off but it's not comfortable enough for me to stick with them. Unless it's a Speedy Moon, I cap my watches at 40mm (wrist is under 7").

Yeah it is such a wrist shape type issue as well. Totally understand. I was just so shocked when I got it and realized it seems to wear smaller than a SkyD, which is supposed to be 5MM smaller. So odd. My wrist is 7 1/4"

I own and love this watch. The movement with micro rotor is amazing. And it is very comfortable for a 45mm watch.

I have always gravitated towards Luminors, but this Radiomir is beautiful!

Today I had the chance to try on the 995 and as mentioned before the green is just amazing.
Unfortunately its not a color for me otherwise I would have taken it with me.
