Back from Service

I was not crazy about waiting 3 months to get this back, but wow it looks like the day I bought it. Worth the wait!

I had Omega service it. I mailed it to New Jersey, but it came back from Miami, which i thought was strange. I had heard some horror stories, but overall it wasn't a bad experience. Plus you get the 2 year warranty. $823 when it was all over and done with, but they made the entire case and bracelet look brand new and replaced pushers, crown, hesalite, mainspring, and gasket. Also it winds much smoother than before.

That's great news. Omega has made remarkable improvement to it service capabilities in the USA. I was very pleased with service I had about a year ago.

Thanks again for sharing this report. Posts like this one are very valuable to the Forum.

Agree with Omega service. Last year I had a smp 300 serviced in Seattle after being a daily wearer for 8 years.
They did an incredible job - I was very pleased - still am.
