Having hard time deciding!!

Want to add a calendar watch to my daily rotation. But can’t make up which one of these beauties..

Which one would you take?

IWC - 42mm, no chrono, costs about 6k
JLC - 40mm, w/ chrono

JLC.

For some reason I’m not really into the gold hour numerals on the IWC.

That IWC is the new perpetual calendar and isn’t 6k!

JLC. Prefer the size, and the subtle blue hands.

Wish the gold hands were blue on the IWC...

@denmanproject meant to say 6k more... But I’m sure most got it..

I couldn't do the IWC as 42x14mm is just too big for a dress watch in my book. Different story if it was 10-12mm thick but even then I would not want to wear it as a daily as any 42mm dress watch looks a little ridiculous on my 6.6 inch wrists.

I like the JLC but believe there have been some threads about movement issues with that specific watch recently?!

The JLC hands down. I saw some pictures of the JLC on different straps and it was strong.

Oddly, the design of the IWC looks like to was inspired by a bangkok night market version of a portugese! would take the JLC, at least it doesn’t look like a cheap copy of itself.

I like the JLC aesthetically a bit more so would go based on that alone.

Aesthetically the IWC, I like the gold hands/gold indexes.
Horological the JLC, because I like them more as a brand, due to history, movement development/movements, etc....

Make the decision even more difficult and add the Girard-Perregaux 1966 Full Calendar into the mix.

JLC. Love the design and this may be a reference that doesn’t take as big of a hit at resale as it’s getting a lot of positive attention.
