Full Gold GMT IIc + Land, Sea and Air

Hi everybody,
As promised here are the first pictures of my new full gold rolex.
I have also made a few pictures of my collection - Land, Sea and Air - SS, TT and YG.
There are no wrist shots yet, they will also be coming!

Just a few first impressions of the GMT....

Its unbelievably heavy....that has surprised me the most.

The yellow is perfectly balanced and not overwelming as I thought it might be. Its a class act and has absolutly no bling effect as sometimes seen on gold watches

The wrist presence is unlike any other rolex I have owned, definitly not to be worn if you want to fly under the radar..but not crazy because of the perfectly balanced combination of mat and gloss gold.

The combo of 18 ct gold and black ceramic in stunning and can not be appreciated in pictures...

enjoy.

Great watch

I've settled on the GMT IIc as my first Rolex - to me, it's just the best looking modern Rolex (my opinion only) - afraid I will have to settle for the pedestrian SS tho.

Gorgeous collection - enjoy (and wear!) with pleasure!

Congrats.

Did you consider a DD or DD II or did you know
the IIC was for you without even a second thought?

I used to think gold Rolex watches were the tackiest damn thing going. Reminded me of a sleazy 1970s guy with a wide collar and a deal I can't refuse.

Boy, now my opinions have changed. The solid gold GMT and the older DDs are now on my list. Nothing cooler than a jeans and Tshirt day and a gold watch.

Wow That collection could not be any better.
Only problem I foresee is which one to wear.

Looks fabulous. The Gold GMTIIc is my holy grail. I want one so badly. I am currently debating if I should go ahead and get one myself. I turn 40 this year and my wife wants it to be my 40th birthday present. I am just rrying to come to terms with the price.
