How tight do you wear your bracelets/straps?

I've heard of issues related to tight bracelets aggravating carpel tunnel symptoms. I've also heard of adverse reactions to watch metals... but I recently have experienced a different medical condition... watch elbow.

It goes back several months ago when I bought a new Super Engineer bracelet for my Orient Saturation Diver. The watch, while heavy at ~ 230g, was always top heavy. With the new heavier bracelet (bracelet 130g) the watch is very balanced but I'm guessing the whole ensemble now weighs in over 275g! I have been wearing this watch for yard and auto work on the weekends in lieu or wearing my BLNR.... and more recently have been wearing it after work during the week (related to a watch accuracy tracking experiment). In recent weeks I have been feeling sharp tendon/muscle pains on my outer arm just below my elbow - almost debilitating my left arm. I can only attribute the pain to this beefy OSD watch I've been wearing... so over the past week I've gone to exclusively wearing my BLNR but the pain was not subsiding at all. A couple of days ago I opened up the BLNR micro-adjustment in the clasp (as I tend to wear watches a bit tighter - fit my pinky between skin and bracelet) and within minutes the elbow pain was reduced by 50%. Now today I still have some elbow pain but it is probably 25% vs. where it was at its worst... and directionally correct.

I can only believe these pains are watch related. I will also point out that over the past couple months the weather has been warmer so my watches were wearing even tighter. Who would have thought a watch could cause tennis elbow?

My office building is highly air conditioned so I find that during the spring and summer, while at work, it will slide down to the back of my hand but once outside it stays put. Glidelock envy on that...

A pretty good fit.
I have space if I want to squish my pinky in, however the watch doesn't move up or down my wrist.
I love it this way. Especially on my small wrists.

I wear mine tough enough so it doesn't move around. I like it snug. In fact most people I know think I'm crazy for not wearing it lose.

Snug but comfortable. Tight enough so the case stays centered on the top of my wrist. I don't like having to flip it into position to read the time or date. It's the most comfortable for me and helps minimize bracelet stretch this way as well because the bracelet links stay "quiet" rather than pivot and torque on the link pins all day long.

Wear mine snug. It is possible to slide my pinky under the clasp but it is very tight. I can't stand a watch that flops around on my wrist or slides down below my wrist bone.

Tight enough to stay above wrist bone and not slide down. Can barely get the tip of my pinky under the 6 O'clock lug.

Make mine loose, but not loose enough to spin all the way around the wrist.

And I wear all of 'em the same way, even the DSSD (on Rubber B)

I wear mine quite snug, don't like it moving around the wrist. The Easylink Oyster bracelet is just a treat I use it often when it gets too tight.

Not so tight, It bothers me when is tight in my wrist, specially when is hot , and in my country is always hot

this. if i try hard i can roll mine all the way around my wrist but it never happens on its own . only part of this that bothers me is when my wrist is above my elbow the watch slides past my wrist bone towards the elbow and i can't stand my watch on the elbow side of my wrist bone ! much different than most folks here .

I wear my Sub pretty darn snug, like some others have stated..... In the morning it goes on with a bit of play and then quickly snugs up pretty tightly. I sometimes don't even know I'm wearing it.
